In most cases, no. Replacing an existing bathroom inside your home does not require planning permission. Loft conversions, extensions, or flats in listed buildings can be exceptions — we'll advise during the consultation.
Yes. Many customers choose their own suite, tiles, or taps — and we'll fit them. We can also supply everything ourselves at trade prices, which is usually cheaper than retail.

Most clients do, provided you have access to another toilet and washing facility. We isolate water only when necessary and reconnect the WC each evening where possible. If your bathroom is the only one, we sequence the work to minimise disruption — typically the WC is back in service after day 2.
Not for a standard internal bathroom installation. Permission is needed only if your home is listed, in a conservation area with Article 4 Directions, or if external work is required (new soil stack on a visible elevation). Replacing fittings in their existing positions usually doesn't trigger Building Regs. Adding new electrics, moving drainage, structural changes, or new ventilation does. We handle all notifications via our competent person scheme registrations and supply the certificates on completion.

Yes. The Disabled Facilities Grant is worth up to £30,000 in England (£36,000 in Wales). We complete the eligibility paperwork, work with the council and your occupational therapist, and bill the council directly. Most adaptations qualify for 0% VAT relief.
